Housing Design Awards launched in 1948 as part of a government scheme that give awards for the design and layout of homes procured by the public sector. Today they present awards to the most beautifully designed properties across the country.
FDRY have previously worked with Housing Design Awards to modernise and refresh their website. This year they required a redesign in time for the 2023 awards. The redesign needed to include new technologies and functions that allowed users to view both past and present schemes.
The FDRY design team took into account the current layout and styles of the site, creating a visually stunning, easy-to-use platform that would attract and retain users. The developers also combined their skills to integrate an interactive map view of current and past housing developments and schemes in the UK. Another new feature is the advanced filter, this helped users to easily navigate through past and present schemes.
The result was a refreshed website with upgraded functions, both appealing to the eye in terms of design and simple for users to navigate through.
