Virtus Energy is a technology-neutral company with their ethics committed to reducing the impact of climate change. Conscious of their aim to reduce emissions to reach the 2015 net-zero goal, Virtus Energy products represent zero-emission distribution technology. These products help to promote better solutions to climate change impacts.

APPROACH

Virtus Energy came to FDRY for a website refresh. They wanted to build a sleek online presence and a smooth journey for new clients. As an already established brand, they knew the content they wanted on their website. It was up to our UX and UI designers to ensure all journeys on the website flowed appropriately, to achieve their business goals.

Virtus Energy wanted to further their website by adding an E-commerce section. This change would allow them to sell a variety of their high-end products with a multitude of variations.

FDRY designers created an innovative look for the Virtus Energy website whilst incorporating the existing brand elements, allowing the original elements to come to life within the new design. These changes ment their mission and key messaging were effectively portrayed in a cohesive online space that communicates what Virtus Energy is all about.

The FDRY development team took the design and worked their magic. From implementing each micro-interaction across all pages, to the bigger E-commerce functionalities. Each detail had the aim of creating a pleasant user experience to encourage sales and customer satisfaction.

Implementation was done on the backend of WordPress, making it accessible and easy to use by the team. WooCommerce was chosen as the most appropriate E-commerce platform to manage its few high-end products with a high number of variations for each.

 

RESULT

Virtus Energy were delighted with the outcome across the board. We implemented a timeless design to match their green mission and products and introduced a seamless user experience journey. Overall, these changes implemented by FDRY meant Virtus Energy was able to provide an excellent service and experience to their customers.
