ICE approached our software development team wishing to build an online Travel Money Budget Calculator to extend the foreign exchange services they provide. ICE has the data and intelligence to suggest to customers how much travel money they could expect to need on a trip, so they wanted to create a tool to assist travellers and holiday-makers with figuring out their Travel Money budgets.
Our developers collaborated with ICE, using the data that they provided in order to build a budget calculator. A framework was drawn up, from which our developers coded functions that allows users to input data in order to generate a number corresponding to the recommended budget according to the data that ICE collected.
As well as an attractive and user-friendly interface, the back end of the Travel Money Budget Calculator enables ICE to manage the tool in a simple way, allowing them to provide their customers with up-to-date and accurate travel money estimates. ICE will also be able to gather intelligence such as how economic trends are impacting if and when people are going on holiday, which they will utilise to improve the currency services they offer.
