APPROACH

Frasers group approached FDRY to build a mobile application for their upcoming employee festival happening in the summer. The vision was to create an app that would be available through mobile application stores, however, would only be able to be used by those within the Frasers database. FDRY had previously worked with Frasers before, however, this was our first time building a mobile application for them. We immediately set to work with the goal of creating an app that would support the success of the Frasers Festival.

The Frasers Group had outlined numerous elements they wanted to include in the app and we understood that establishing a clear user experience and journey would be crucial for its success.

ACTIONS

In collaboration with Frasers we built strong branding elements which significantly enhanced the visual appeal and overall design of the app. Following this, we implemented a CRM system to manage information effectively and a CMS to give the client full control over their content management.

Our team designed the app to seamlessly integrate with both the CRM and CMS, ensuring that all relevant information was automatically updated and translated into the app for a smooth user experience. This seamless integration contributed to an app that is both dynamic and provides an outstanding user journey.

A key objective was to cater to the requirements of two different groups of employees. One employee being an internal delegate and the other being external. We designed the app to identify internal employees, allowing them to receive five tokens through the app to use for food and drinks during the festival. Additionally, the app provided these internal users with information on transportation options to the festival which Frasers Group would provide for them (including information on pick up and drop off locations around the UK.)

RESULT

The result is a prime example of FDRY’s holistic approach to our projects. We drew on our extensive experience to ensure that the layout and structure of the Frasers Festival app enabled users to navigate effortlessly, from registration to enjoying the event on the festival day. By focusing on intuitive design and streamlined processes, we created an app that delivered a positive and hassle-free experience for all users.

To meet the specific needs of our client, we offered Frasers the flexibility to manage app access, allowing them to customise who could use it. The app can also accommodate new features later on, such as a leaderboard for race results during the festival.

We designed a seamless user experience that guides users from app sign-up all the way to event day.

We love how we are able to create an app that supports the success of the Frasers Festival.
