APPROACH

As a brand being built from the ground up, Face Swap Gifts approached FDRY to bring their entire vision to life, from identity to functionality. This meant designing a compelling brand identity, developing a seamless customer experience, and building a highly technical Shopify site that could facilitate a complex, AI-powered product journey. With multiple integrations needed to support AI image generation, product preview, and print-on-demand fulfilment, the project demanded not only creative strategy but also technical ingenuity.

ACTIONS

We began by creating a visual identity that captured the playful and light-hearted nature of the brand, while keeping the design versatile enough to work across a wide range of products. From there, our development team built a custom Shopify experience that could support a multi-step product creation flow. Users start by selecting a character style, upload an image for AI face swapping, choose a product, preview their design, and complete their purchase. All in a smooth and engaging journey. Behind the scenes, this required integrating Shopify with several powerful tools: Segmind for generative AI face-swapping, Customily for live product previews, and Printify/Printful for print-on-demand production.

One of the key technical challenges was getting these platforms to work in harmony. Customily and the print-on-demand services needed to stay in sync with the AI-generated content from Segmind, which required a series of tailored backend workflows and API connections to ensure accurate previews and order fulfilment. Our team problem-solved these layers of complexity to deliver a robust, user-friendly system.

The end result is a dynamic and fully custom e-commerce experience that brings Face Swap Gifts’ innovative concept to life.
