Cadman Wine is an independent wine merchant founded in 2004 that boasts one of the most comprehensive wine ranges in the UK.

APPROACH

Cadman Wine were looking for a website refresh and an update in their systems. As a growing wine retailer, they wanted their website functionality and online presence to be of a high quality, not only for their users, but for the Cadman Wine team.

Cadman Wine wanted to approach the new design in a minimalistic way that focused greatly on communicating the product features, whilst having an educational element for their users to learn more about their products and expand on their wine knowledge.

ACTIONS

FDRY accommodated in the design the range and volume of products held by Cadman wine shop. Starting out by mapping out journeys to ensure ease and simplicity when shopping for products. The journey was enhanced by implementing a mega menu with the varying categories of drinks, which FDRY made easily accessible to the Cadman team as their range of products expands.

The FDRY team went ahead and matched the approved user interface of the new site, whilst setting up Woocommerce implementations and front-end functionality. The back-end was built with our client in mind, with custom templates and fields that made editing the front of the site an easy process for anyone in their team.

RESULT

The Cadman Wine website resulted in a finely crafted digital space in which the company can sell and grow. Having the ability to control products and content with flexibility will allow them to carefully present themselves as they wish to their customers.
